Superintendent of the Year
Congratulations to Jody Purvis!
Jody Purvis, superintendent of Livingston Parish Schools, was named the 2026 Louisiana Superintendent of the Year by the Louisiana Association of School Superintendents and Administrators (LASSA).
A panel of his peers selected Mr. Purvis based on the criteria of leadership for learning, communication, professionalism, and community involvement. The award was presented during the LASSA Summer Conference in Lake Charles, La. on June 17, 2026.
