LASSA Priorities
Have all students on grade level in Literacy and Numeracy by third grade.
- Utilize appropriate high-quality assessments for Grades K - 3rd grade
- Ensuring K-2 accountability is appropriately aligned and implemented in
- scheduled assessments
- Support proven and effective teaching methods through:
- Professional Development
- Use of quality resources, including assessment and progress monitoring
- Attention to Health & Developmental Needs
Ensure students in grades 4-8 are making adequate growth annually.

Have students graduate prepared for post-secondary success.
- Increase the number of students earning mastery through state assessments
- Ensure graduates have skills and knowledge that amplify their diplomas

- Increase the number of students prepared for College, Career, and/or Military Service
Support Superintendents and System Executives/LEAs by:
- Ensuring legislative, policy, and budget revisions are aligned to educational priorities
- Providing professional development and training opportunities aligned to educational priorities
